Terms of Use

These are the rules for using Fandeeza — the app and this website, faanza.app. They are written in plain English on purpose. By using Fandeeza you agree to them; if you don't agree, don't use Fandeeza. Questions before you decide: hello@faanza.app.

Who can use Fandeeza

You must be at least 13 years old. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 13, we will delete it — see our Privacy Policy for how.

Your account

• Sign up with accurate information — the account should be yours, not someone else's.
• Keep your sign-in credentials safe. What happens on your account is your responsibility until you tell us it was compromised.
• We can suspend or ban accounts that break these terms — temporarily for smaller things, permanently for the serious ones.

Your content

Clips, comments, posts, chat messages — everything you create on Fandeeza stays yours. We never claim ownership of it.

You do give us a license to host, store and display your content — in the app and on faanza.app share pages — because that is what it takes to show your clip to other fans. That license exists to run the service and ends when you delete the content or your account (except where the Privacy Policy says something is retained).

Only post what you have the right to post. Your own recordings and your own words are yours to share; other people's copyrighted material is not. If a rights holder tells us content infringes, we'll take it down.

Community standards

Rivalry banter is the heart of Fandeeza. Go at the team, the tactics, the trophy cabinet. Attacks on people are where it stops.

• No abuse, harassment or threats against any person.
• No hate — attacks on people for who they are have no place here.
• No illegal content, and no spam or scams.
• Report anything that crosses the line — reports are reviewed by humans, not just algorithms.
• Block anyone you don't want to hear from. It works everywhere.

Content that breaks these standards gets removed; accounts that keep breaking them get suspended or banned.

Points, ratings and XP

Predictions earn leaderboard points; games earn ratings and Fan Points; activity earns XP and badges. None of it is money:

• Virtual items have no monetary value. None.
• They can't be bought with real money, sold, transferred outside the app or redeemed for anything.
• We may rebalance, reset or change virtual items as the game evolves — leaderboard seasons end, scoring gets retuned.

Predictions are a game, not gambling

Predicting results on Fandeeza is a free game of skill played for points and leaderboard position. There is no entry fee, no stake, no prize with monetary value, and no way to win or lose money. Fandeeza is not a gambling product and must not be used as one.

Scores, news and other people's work

Live scores, fixtures and news headlines shown in Fandeeza come from third-party sources and belong to them. Headlines link back to the outlets that wrote them, with attribution. Team names, player names and club badges belong to their respective owners; Fandeeza is not affiliated with or endorsed by any league or club.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time — in the app or by email; Delete your account explains how and exactly what gets removed. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, and where the violation is serious we'll do it without warning.

The honest disclaimer

Fandeeza is provided "as is". We are a small team running an early product: features will change, things will occasionally break, and scores or data may sometimes be wrong or delayed. We don't promise uninterrupted or error-free service, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from using — or not being able to use — Fandeeza. Nothing here limits liability where the law says it can't be limited.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update the effective date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. Continuing to use Fandeeza after a change means you accept the new terms.
