Privacy Policy

Who we are
Fandeeza runs the Fandeeza app and this website, faanza.app. Fandeeza is a sports fan community: clips, predictions, trash-talk threads, and live scores and news. We are a small operation, and this policy is written the way we would explain it to you in person. If anything is unclear, email us at hello@faanza.app.
What we collect
- Account identity — your email, name and avatar, from Google sign-in or email/password, handled through Neon Auth.
- Content you create — videos (hosted by Mux), comments, posts, polls and chat messages.
- Your favorite team — so the app can show you the right scores, threads and news.
- Prediction activity — the predictions you make and the points they earn.
- Push notification tokens — so we can send notifications you have opted into.
- Basic device info — the kind of technical detail any app needs to work properly.
How we use it
Three things, and only these three:
- Running the service — showing your posts to other fans, settling your predictions, keeping your points right.
- Notifications — telling you about replies, match events and prediction results, when you have them turned on.
- Safety and moderation — reviewing reported content and keeping the community usable for everyone.
Who processes data for us
We do not run our own servers for everything. These companies process data on our behalf:

What we don't do
- No ads.
- No selling your data — to anyone, ever.
- No third-party analytics SDKs are currently active in the app.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, deletion is immediate: the app calls a deletion endpoint that removes your account, your content and your sign-in identity. You can delete your account in the app under Settings → Account → Delete account, or by emailing hello@faanza.app — see Delete your account for details.
Two things survive deletion:
- Reports you filed about other content are kept, but without any link back to you.
- Records we are legally required to keep, for as long as the law requires.
Children
Fandeeza is for people aged 13 and over. If we learn that someone under 13 has an account, we will delete it. If you believe a child under 13 is using Fandeeza, tell us at hello@faanza.app.
Security
Data travels over encrypted connections and lives with the processors listed above, who each run their own security programs. No system is perfectly secure, and we won't pretend ours is — but we keep the amount of data we hold small, which is the best protection there is.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. We won't quietly weaken it.
